It is good as a b-side, had no business being on S/T.

I'm starting to get worried about the potential lack of Stone contributions on LB.
So far LTRP is the only Stone song that's been confirmed. Getaway, My Father's Son, and Pendulum are still up for grabs as far as songwriting credits go. MFS seems like the best candidate for a Stone song, since that's been described as a little strange... reviews have mentioned Bu$hleaguer and Johnny Guitar in trying to describe MFS (both which are Stone songs).... I could see that as being a Stone and Eddie collaboration. Fingers crossed.

But I keep replaying this scene in my head (and I do not like it one bit!):

(First day in the studio)
Stone: Hey guys, check this out. I've got a couple new riffs that I thought we could jam on. Let's see if we can do anything with some of these.
Jeff: Wow, cool man... I really lu...
BoB: Uh, excuse me guys. Sorry but there will be no jam sessions today, or tomorrow, or ever again if I have my way. That garbage is for young people who don't know what the hell they're doing! If you don't have a complete song that's finished and ready to record then don't even bother mentioning it!
Stone: Oh, ok. Yea, I guess you're right. No one wants to hear my lame ideas.
BoB: Good, that's better. Now who has some finished ideas with them.
Ed: Uh, well, I have a couple songs that are ready to record.
BoB: Great! That's my boy Ed! See, you all have something to learn from this man. He's a real grown-up musician and a true professional!

Is this you making a totally unreasonable and subjective complaint? Wow! Welcome to the board.

Well, at least we have proof that you could replace Stone with Matt here... but that proof isn't there yet regarding Stone. Even if he didn't write many entire songs, hopefully his presence will still be felt with riffs and guitar parts etc.

Yup,

Add it to my list:

My Unreasonable/ subjective complaints:
1. Evacuation sucks
2. Big Wave should not have been on S/T
3. Let it Ride is better than Cold Confession
4, Vitalogy is a flawed album

I'm sure there's more...

But you're perfectly OK with O'Brien. That's the band's choice, right?

And I pretty much disagree with all of this... so obviously, you're subjective reasoning is objectively flawed...

We know he was at least involved with the handclap session(s).

1. Evacuation does not suck.
2. You're right about Big Wave.
3. I think both of these songs are pretty good but since they're Easter Eggs, I don't care for comparing them really.
4. No. Vitalogy is in fact PJ's best album, closely followed by No Code.

For the record, 1.5/4, but I dig your style. Please stick around.

Its not a great song but that riff has balls. PJ riffs have been missing some balls the last two efforts.

We need more balls. :bammer:

Big wave is better than life wasted, marker in the sand, gone, come back and inside job, so before you get rid of it well...
