I've thought about this a lot. It's very, very tempting. But I don't want another 4 years of what we have now. And not all leftists are created equal. We don't know what, exactly could sprout up in 2024.

Honestly though, as I said on the previous page, the only way you can even remotely hope this happens is through a concerted dont-vote campaign large enough to publicly discredit the Dems followed by four long years of committed institution building outside of the DNC. The idea that the Democrats will lose and pivot left is, as you note, absolutely not a given.
