Chud is trying to use Josh's outburst to make a point about B or whatever. No one cares, move along.

Chud and Josh are both high risk. That alone should bring them together, but it won't.

It's probably overly cautious but it is killing healthy people and what counts as an underlying condition is pretty flexible.
It's unlikely to be a big problem for healthy people, but you should still be away from your family as much as possible, and handwashing should go to 11.

Did you say you're working? Stop that last week.

Yeah, I'm working. The company I'm with didnt give an option. Now that my wife isn't letting me see her and the kids because of corona fears, I need to continue working to avoid coming totally undone mentally or something .

Seems like a worse thin g than quoting B posts, which can get you banned now.
I get this but we should really be advocating for fewer bans, not more

Bans should be an extreme measure reserved for continued threats, targeted harassment, or doxxing
So what should be done about personal attacks like that?
Literally nothing. Did anyone complain?

How many people do you come in close contact with a day? Also, what state do you live in?

My cousin and her boyfriend both recently were diagnosed with it. Her boyfriend works for Amtrak and he contracted it from a co-worker and then she got sick too. They're both about 50 years old. They were able to recover at home but he was close to having to go to the hospital because of difficulty breathing. She was sick for 2 weeks (and is still sick) and described it as the sickest she has ever been in her life and feeling like her head was going to explode. As of 2 days ago, she was fever free for 2 days but still basically unable to move, still achy and total lethargy.

I feel real bad for you, especially if you are not essential and you know what I mean by that. So are you still going home , but 6 feet apart you mean?

My 78 year old dad has visited both my sisters in the past week (grandkids under 6) and insists on coming to my house tomorrow.

He has every risk factor you can imagine.

He is a retired doctor.

I don’t think he understands what is going on here.

Don’t get me wrong, low risk people should be able to get back to life as normal immediately because the advertised death rate is WAY higher than the real death rate due to lack of testing ... but my dad should be staying home.

Wait. I thought you were sick. You don't have to isolate just b/c you're working. Just shower when you get home.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

I wouldn't let him in the house, I'm not kidding. Of course tell him that beforehand
