That seems very optimistic. My math here is admittedly extremely chicken-scratch, but for coronavirus to have a mortality rate of 0.2%, as the article's claiming as a possibility, taking the U.S. total deaths thus far, I think it would mean approximately 1 in 16 Americans have (or had) the coronavirus, even if asymptomatic. In NYS, it'd be about one in three people have been or are infected - and this is just going off the most recent numbers, which would mean for those stats to hold, no one else could die from it. There's no doubt we're significantly undercounting the number of cases, but there's just no way this has a fatality rate anywhere near the seasonal flu.

That's what I was getting at. No idea how it looks in other states, but these are fringe supporters in MT. The wide swath of Republican voters in MT vote for moderate conservatives, and those campaigns don't seem to be present at this event today.
