Gigaton is my favorite Pearl Jam Album

one of my favorite things about this album is that it isn’t exhausting to be a fan of it, which going in was one of the only goals I had.

I love every minute of this album. It does and says everything I need it to do and say. It’s perfect. I can’t deny a moment on this album. It’s all brilliant. Quote me, I’m the first to say it, Gigaton is my favorite Pearl Jam album.

Everyone else's posts about Gigaton make me want to put my headphones on and listen to it, find more little things tucked into the songs that I haven't fully noticed yet. J's posts about the album make me want to get in the car and just blast it loud.

It's a steep climb, and it's up against some deep-rooted, intangible things that as I get older become increasingly difficult for any new album to prevail against. But -- who cares. I like it a lot, and only find myself tempted to compare it to other PJ albums during discussions; that kind of exercise thankfully hasn't really informed my experience of actually listening to the album at all. Right now, it's the PJ I want to hear.

Its very very good yeah. Its pretty incredible how hard is for me to skip a song. Sometimes i go for a particular song and then i just leave the whole thing.

PHATJ...i LOVE your enthusiasm for this album!

More than anything else i'm just so grateful for this album. Grateful to have it during this difficult time, and grateful for the enthusiasm its sparked in me to revisit a back catalogue that i had frankly burned out on a little the last few years.

I like how this album's reception on here seems to range from good to excellent. Given the pasting BS and LB got that's remarkable.

Might be a OTT to say it, but it's also nice that the album seems to be helping (or at least, providing a pleasing distraction for) people through this shitty pandemic.

No way, I think it's great! The only songs I don't care for are "Retrograde" and "River Cross" (and to a lesser extent "Alright"). Best PJ in a long time!
