i watched a few episodes and i like it. I like how rude Chang is sometimes.dad wrote:I'm a bit behind on this, but I started watching the docuseries Ugly Delicious. It seems like most of the show is centered around him promoting his friend's restaurants, which is fine. I do enjoy the origin story aspects of the foods that are featured, and the origin stories of the chefs and their restaurants.
I watched Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner before UD, and I think I enjoy UD more.
Does anyone else watch UD? Thoughts?
So I finally got Netflix...

I like how he handles the series. I agree that he seems like a very snob type of guy, but at the same time he defends Domino´s pizza. And i love how rude he is sometimes.tragabigzanda wrote:I can’t stand David Chang, and his partnering with Aziz Ansari is the perfect example why: His food varies from great to mediocre to awful, and he’s basically selling the hype of food. i'm glad you wrote that last sentencetragabigzanda wrote:I have no idea if he's a snob or what... The thing is, his food is just not very good. I'll admit his Momofuku ramen is excellent. Every other dining experience I've had at his restaurants has sucked.

I had their famous pie at one of their little ice cream shops and it was just a good buttermilk pie, nothing crazy like I was expecting.
