I guess instead of watching a story about a champion of animal and ecosystem rights, I should have been watching who was going to stab who in the back and send them to exile island with Boston Rob?

Anyone seen "Occupied" yet? Hearing good things.

The Outsider was great. It felt like an awesome (10-part) episode of the The X-Files.

I have no idea how I'd watch it but with that endorsement I will have to try at some point.Farmer John wrote:The Outsider was great. It felt like an awesome (10-part) episode of the The X-Files.

Wife started watching (so in essence means "we've" started watching) New Girl on Netflix. A lot funnier than I thought it'd be. We just started season 2 last night. Didn't realize how long the show has been on. Schmidt is hilarious.

Real talk: it's legit one of the top ten shows of the last decade. And one of my personal favorite shows of all time. It stumbles in small stretches. It could have/should have been shorter and the final season is a sort of largely unnecessary coda. But the laughs in S7 (when they come) are so big that I can forgive it.DissidentRival4 wrote:Wife started watching (so in essence means "we've" started watching) New Girl on Netflix. It's a flawed run but in the end it's a journey well worth taking. I've seen every episode seven or eight times now. It has tremendous replay value.

Re: What are you currently watching on TV?
Awesome - we definitely look forward to watching the whole thing. I'd always seen it on Netflix, but for some reason it just never piqued my interest, then the Mrs. saw the little clip that plays when you highlight the show and thought it looked "cute". We were both rolling the whole first episode and haven't stopped watching since..durdencommatyler wrote:Real talk: it's legit one of the top ten shows of the last decade.
