Somewhat. Haven’t listened to fully for like 2 weeks. I’ll probably check out that Apple TV thing this weekend.

Yes! Between work, kids at home, etc i rarely find myself with an hour to myself to listen to this thing front to back. Depending on my mood i actually have been rotating between a "Side A" listen and a "Side B" listen.Lounge Lizard wrote:So is everyone still loving the heck out of this one?
I oddly find myself enjoying that run of slow songs at the end alot more when im only listening to the back 6 songs.

Re: The Official GIGATON Thread
it's really great that as time passes, this album grows away from anything you expected, and becomes exactly what it is, creating its own atmosphere that sounds more and more "Pearl Jam"

My wife and 14 year old son listen to this via the visualizers pretty regularly, so I am getting inundated.

Yesterday I was cleaning out the garage and had Gigaton playing. My wife was in and out helping and "Alright" was playing and she said she liked it.
She's not big into PJ so I'll take it.

My wife is similar. She really likes DotC, Buckle Up, and Comes Then Goes though.blueviper wrote:Yesterday I was cleaning out the garage and had Gigaton playing. My wife was in and out helping and "Alright" was playing and she said she liked it.

Re: The Official GIGATON Thread
Still listening every day, my wife is usually the one to put it on, though I'm not complaining. My daughters know all the lyrics to the first 4 songs, Dance... is their favorite PJ ever, it seems.

Outside shooting hoops with my kids over the weekend and my 13 year old daughter put on Dance. Everything else was either modern day pop or a few current indie rock songs. She said Dance is her favorite PJ song.

Re: The Official GIGATON Thread
one thing I think makes this album feel quite contemporary (more than BS and LB, their deliberate attempts, I guess, to sound contemporary) is just how danceable it isPHATJ wrote:Outside shooting hoops with my kids over the weekend and my 13 year old daughter put on Dance. Agreed. I think that’s what is attracting the younger listeners for sure. All three of my kids (14,13,10) love the outro to Dance.
