guys, sleight of hand is amazing but stop voting for it. should it win, then insignificance is out.

So is the goal to have an album full of mid-tier songs so that we don’t get two absolute stink bombs from Backspacer and LB, or is it to vote for your favorite song every round, especially when they are winning, and just say “fuck it, who cares about the BS and LB songs, they’re gonna suck anyway, I’m gonna get as many awesome songs as possible.”

I think people understand just fine how this works, they just have different strategies.

So far I've only voted for my favorite song from each album.

People are free to vote however they like, but I think it's more fun to weigh the options and what other songs you're knocking out of the competition, and potentially compromise to save them. Otherwise it's just another series of ranking threads.

But what if we’d rather have Sleight of Hand than Insignificance or Grievance?

I’d like Get Right better at number 9 than Grievance. And I’d be fine with three or four other tracks at number seven, although Insignificance would totally be worthy too.

I voted for "Sleight of Hand" because:

- I think it's the best song in this batch
- I think it's the best song on Binaural
- The Backspacer and LB options for this track number aren't great

I also voted Sleight of Hand, largely because I too think it's the best song on Binaural.

I voted for Yellow Moon, because when the Ultimate Pearl Jam album gets to its LB track, I will tolerate it, rather than becoming filled with rage

Yellow Moon blows and is lazy, though.

yes, perfect for a track 11. by then if I am still listening to this I am pretty drunk and too tired to change the song and fine with a mellow yellow

I am voting for what I think is the best representative from each album if at all possible. Depending on the track, there are some caveats. But voting for some mediocre LB track as the lesser of 11 evils is pointless.

That’s as much strategy as Kaius seems capable of, yes.
