Re: MLB
What would the concept be this time? I'd like something more narrow like 1998 only or something like that.philpritchard wrote:Somebody go wake him up.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Yeah we need lament to return and run a tourneyCopperTom wrote:Man, WhatIf would hit the spot.

There will be no Hall of Fame induction this year. The 2020 class will be part of next year's ceremony.

I am not a fan of the no league, 3 division idea. Not one bit.

They should add two teams and make four divisions of eight.

Re: MLB
Personally, I’d be fine with no division, no leagues, but a wild, wild playoff format. Top 8 get a bye, 8 1-game playoff games, those 8 winners play the Top 8. Best of 3, Best of 5, Best of 7, Best of 7, Champion. Embrace scrapping tradition if for just 1 year only. It would give 24 cities and fan bases what they need now more than ever, hope.

You can add the Little League World Series to the list of canceled events.

fuck the owners. they're all too willing to privatize profits while socializing losses.
maybe they can get taxpayers to subsidize them on top of their publicly funded ballparks.

Re: MLB
I have no idea what Teixeira said but I just saw an MMA highlight with no crowd and it was beyond weird.
That said, ESPN was airing Korean(?) baseball this past week without crowds and it really wasn’t that big of a deal. Like a normal A’s or Rays game on TV, really.
