Sheesh.
I get the lesser of two evils vote, but FON?! On the "Ultimate" album? It's a low point in their career.

I like LTRP. It's a lesser song, but fun for what it is. Like everything on Lightning Bolt it is presented in as unflattering a way as possible

where would you put it?
I have a BS/LB hybrid album that I enjoy well enough for the occasional spin:

GSMF
Got Some
The Fixer
Johnny Guitar
LTRP
Pendulum
My Father's Son
Force Of Nature
Future Days
I like seeing Future Days on here, too. Other than the saccharine piano it is a nice unassuming closer, and the harvest strings are nice. The song really evokes fall, which it should

I really think FD is a lovely composition matter by horrific production

And I really like Ed's vocal on Future Days. It's not a bad song. It's the awkwardness of the title that's always bothered me most.

can we all just agree that we will allow rival to win if Just Breathe will be chosen for the backspacer song? Of course this will require written oaths which must be notarized.

would you rather have Rival + Just Breathe or Nothing as it Seems + Force of Nature

But I really want to hold out on Binaural until the number 9 slot

Garden
Rats
Bugs
Lukin
JFC
Grievance
Get Right
Gone
Speed of Sound
LTRP
Buckle Up

that's the weakest track number overall (in the 1-11 range) pretty easily.

1-8 is full of multiple outstanding songs across many albums.

So you're saying it's like fishing and that it really doesn't matter if we catch a three-headed eel as long as it puts up a good fight?

Now I'm torn. I hate FoN but Rival isn't even top 4 on Binaural

I have provided clear guidance on how to vote each round to produce the optimal outcome and no one is listening.

I made a fucking spreadsheet, people!

So frustrating...

Force Of Nature doesn't belong anywhere near any kind of "Ultimate PJ" anything.

Get. That. Shit. Out. Of. Here.

If Rival wins, then Buckle Up might win. Hmmm.

the randomization element adds a lot to this. I hope track 3 comes up first!

I dig Rats, but it would feel weird on here.
I love Lukin, but it also is unlikely to fit this exercise in the end.
MFC is pretty charming, but wouldn't work in the plausible event it follows Rearviewmirror.
Grievance is tremendous as earns this spot on merit.

Speed of Sound would be my sleeper pick here if Backspacer is still on the board after this round.

(To preserve the Gigaton representative for one of its heavier hitters.)

Compared to the song that Sly said was too corny to make it onto the Rocky 4 soundtrack Amongst the Waves is a 10.

So as much as I hate FoN, I just hate that whole album, while I love Binaural but Rival is just middle of the pack for that album. I may need to vote FoN here, I'm not gonna like any track from BS on this thing anyway. That way I can hope for a better Binaural track
