The album has flavor notes of caramel and facial hair.

Well, since this thread has gone all shitty, I'll just offer you a...

Great Moment in the Life of Pete Townshend.

On July 3, 1969, Brian Jones was found dead in his swimming pool. It was a tragic end for what had once been one of the more striking creative forces of the early 60's pop explosion. Recently fired from the band, reportedly drinking several bottles of scotch a day, the founding member of what would be one of rock's longest lived forces had suffered near-total collapse as he watched new-songwriting partners Keith and Mick take over what he had always perceived as "his" band.

Although the Stones were widely considered hellraisers and, according to some government officials (and revolutionary lunatics), anarchists, their handling of the event was not unlike the way one might expect such a passing to be dealt with in today's world of PR gurus, lawyers, and good clean fun. Mick Jagger, clad in white, read a poem before a concert that had little to do with Brian but felt vaguely funereal, the band offered impersonal one-liner goodbyes in interview, and several press statements were issued from the band's management office full of nonspecific "he will be missed"-type messages.

Thus, it fell to Pete Goddamn Townshend to deliver the most honest and accurate statement about his binge drinking, drug addled, paranoid and depressed multi-instrumentalist friend:

"It's just another day for Brian," he said. "Like, Brian died every day."

The words Fun & Real are in the word Funereal. That Hyde Park show was a real fun funereal.
This album needs to leak....Between Lightning Bolt and the new Dr.Dog...I'm losing it.
