Pearl Jam's All-In Challenge

Post by Tsuga »

Sorry, couldn't find another thread on this: https://www.billboard.com/articles/colu ... -challenge. I don't usually enter contests but I sure as hell entered this one:

Maximum of 200 entries per person for this sweepstakes
100% of the money raised through this Game/Auction will go directly to Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.
One (1) winner + one (1) guest will get to attend a Pearl Jam Show - date of show TBD
Round trip coach airfare for two (2)
The one (1) winner will also receive a band signed Fender Telecaster Guitar
The winner and guest will be invited to 4 pm soundcheck and work with Ed on the setlist
The winner and guest will watch the first half of the show from great seats and soundboard
The winner and guest will watch the second half of the show from the side of the stage and also get to join Ed on stage at some point
Two (2) night standard hotel stay
Delivery Timing: Prize delivery time will be mutually agreed upon and determined at a later date when it is safe to do so.

Incredible prize, the chances of winning will be ultra slim but definitely worth putting an entry in for it. I've been to two shows on my birthday and had them sing happy birthday during the show (it's close to Stone's) which is pretty fun, but would be something else to actually be up on stage for it!

I don't know how I would keep my composure.

Wonder how much input you'd get for the setlist? I'm guessing one, maybe two songs? I'd do it just for this aspect, lol. And request Last Kiss. Or Baba and RITFW. :haha:

I'll make sure they play Supersonic as a show of love to this place
We still make records to be listened to — not that everyone will listen to a record track one to twelve in a row or side A or Side B — but we still make 'em in case somebody does want to listen to it like that, that's how we make em…
