Re: The Running Thread
I miss running. I haven't run in several months. I'm scared to because I get this nagging pain in my right thigh. I need to see somebody for that probably. Maybe I need different shoes or to stretch better.

Ran 12 in 5:00 per km. Was at 5:30 the last couple runs. I was fast for me. Err kinda back to my best pace now.

The "Great Virtual Race Across Tennessee 1000K" (organized by the people behind the Barkley Marathons) has 6,000 registrants (myself included) at $60 a pop. Damn. Apparently there's money to be made in virtual race directing right now.

The Peachtree Road Race, one of the largest 10Ks and a big deal on Independence Day in Atlanta since the 70s, has been postponed until Thanksgiving Day.

Re: The Running Thread
Lots of historic races getting postponed and cancelled. Boston got moved to September, but I don't see how that happens. Unless they limit it to just elites.

Re: The Running Thread
Races would be such a risk. Just think of all the spit and vapor coming out of every body, all crushed together at the starting line.

I'm having the opposite problem. I'm a bottomless pit.
