Holy shit.
It’s in my queue. But if it’s the same anxiety-inducing ride as Uncut Gems, I’ll wait a bit.
It's extremely anxiety-inducing, and all of the characters are terrible people, so I don't know if you'll like it, but fuck I loved it. Pattinson is a force.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Loved Uncut Gems. Looooved it. Good People is a little too long for my taste. Also very stressful.

Isn't Good Time like a half hour shorter lol? That's part of why I put it on at 12:30 last night.

Ah okay. Haven't seen Gems yet but I thought Good Time was pretty tightly written.
Spoiler: show
I did think the detour around Adventureland took longer than necessary, but only by a few beats

Uncut Gems seemed like a reworked version of GT. Almost like another episode on trash people. Sandler is great.

I might watch it again now!

Godzilla: KoM

I liked the
Spoiler: show
eco-facist
aspect as a good twist on a stale story, but the writing and acting was shitty.

Just people on the ship that evolved or devolved. They had been there for a really long time. Didn't the one guy cover that?
