Take the Long Way is the only one that I didn't have in that category, but it's growing on me. They're all growing on me. Get them off of me! AAAAAAAAHH!
:haha:

Take the Long Way is gonna be a 4+ star song for you too. It’s badass and awesome. You are covered in growth!
You're right! I played it for my wife and said near the beginning, "This is my least favorite from this album" and maybe 30 seconds later she was chiding me telling me it was a great song and by the latter portion we were both full-on rocking out to it.

My wife told me I’m obsessed with this song yesterday, and she’s not wrong.

I think I’m ready to put this in my PJ top 10.

I think he always takes care of that. But the obsession with the hat is super weird.

I wanted to give it some time, because some of the songs on the album have gone up and down with me, but we’re far enough past the release of this that I’m ready to declare this a top 10 PJ song for me.

By the time this song ends, I have been successfully reeled in, every time. I absolutely love Pearl Jam for this.

This is an inspired track with dense, moody production and lyrics that cut deeper than almost everything Ed's put forth in quite a while.

They're not fucking back at all; they're headed in a new direction entirely.
