For a population to even begin evaluating infection rates, there has to be adequate testing. The ideal positive/total tests ratio to be sure a wide enough net is cast is 3%. WHO recommends a minimum 10% (well, actually maximum) positivity rate of 10%.

It is easy to figure out the rate for any given state by taking the total cases divided by the number of tests done. Here's all the data for each state. (But the positivity rate isn't given so ya have to do your own math )

South Korea wasn't satisfied until their rate was 3%.

The second link projects about a thousand additional deaths between May first and June first for Connecticut, which takes in to account the number of tests but clearly not the true accuracy (assuming they do not have a crystal ball) with the deficiencies we noted.. yeah, I'm done reading for today; off to job number two.

All of the children experienced a persistent fever, more than half reported rash, abdominal pain, vomiting or diarrhea, and less than half experienced respiratory symptoms.

Granted it is only currently an assumed association but just the thought of this eliciting the fact that we know very little about this virus other than it can kill you harshly and effectively, I don't know... might evoke some pause and honest reflection in some homo sapiens.

This is not the first article I read about this. It's been bubbling for a while .

I also read today about blood clots appearing in younger people (20s, 30s) after they have already recovered.

People are focusing on politics (including me at times) and not hearing how this is brand new. There's zero research. Who knows what this can and/or will do. It's scary. Governors in charge reacting because of politics is scary.

Also people's oxygen levels being so low that technically they should be dead but instead doctors are witnessing them sitting there, scrolling on their phones . Wtf

It could just be that they don't know enough about long term damage yet, so currently they are doing that as a precaution. May not be a permanent rule once they know more.

How could this possibly be a permanent rule if a majority of people will eventually get this? Wouldn't that mean the end of the air force at some point?
