At the risk of sounding like a penis, I have not heard these. I am not going to hassle people for them via PM and I'm not really requesting them now.

All I'm saying is that if someone could Pleas Alford me a bit of help in locating these I will be eternally grateful, pass on your good will by helping others that are also in the same position as myself currently and even attempt to help with some lyrics. I'm doing my best not to sound like a beg, here.

People were comparing the attitude/vibe/atmospherics of this record to Binaural. These are tinny mp3's... but to my ears, they don't even compare.

Ed is so wordy, it's all OVER THOUGHT.

Where is the moody, experimental, atmospheric, fucking gutsy album?

The rhythm, the timing of the guitars, the chorus, the vocals, the delayed notes and a more sophysticated drum track... there are quite a few small tweeks that repackage the whole song for me.

My favorite part of the entire leak is the contrapuntal piano stuff going on in the "always something, never nothing" part in Lightning Bolt. Funnily, that's probably BO'B's doing.

not that i really like the song that mucn, but PJ must really not care much for 'of the earth'. if there was ever an album for that song to fit on, it's this one.

I totally agree. They must genuinely have a reason not to include it. I'm guessing they felt it's one verse, a chorus, and then a big solo. They probably tried to restructure it and didn't get very far. To be honest, the chorus sounds quite a bit like 'Lightning Bolt!' except it's 'Of the earth!' being screamed. Maybe they couldn't get it very different.

I can't wait to hear a better quality version of it. Matt's drumming sounds great but it's a bid muddy along with everything else (which I'm hoping is just down to the quality of these mp3s)

I just caught myself thinking that although I maybe critical of certain elements of the songs I'm hearing, not even once so far has it crossed my mind that I might be skipping this in the future. I remember my first listen of BS and I knew immediately which songs were going to be excluded from my playlist forever.

It really is. Nothing on Backspacer moved me. That little section you are talking about I connected with immediately.
