I think there is a big difference. We are talking amongst friends here. To post something like that on Twitter it’s either to annoy people or just get attention. Or both

My main problems with the movie were how it was paced and how they brought Palpls. But its not even this movie´s fault for me.

When I read a post like this, I wonder: Does everything on your phone default to the first letter of text being lower-case, or do you do it deliberately? Every email, every text, every RM post, etc.? This strikes me as very odd. My default is to always start with a capital letter and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Wanted to love ROS desperately but just felt so utterly disappointed in it when I saw it in the theatre, for scenes like the one being discussed above, but for so many other reasons. I still hope that someone can convince me it is somehow a good movie worth watching, but I couldn't even get past the early scenes with Rey and Leia when I tried to watch it again this week.

If it was made for fan service then I'm clearly not the fan they were aiming for (born '77 and still remember watching the OG trilogy in the theatre at 6 yo). But I'm happy for all of you who love it / enjoy it, I'm super jealous and hope I can join you there one day!

And it's probably not necessary for me to say I loved TLJ.

The scene is a triumph for both of them. They have overcome, and Luke places his full faith in Rey. It’s a gesture for him and for her, for their history together, and his. It’s a sensei preparing his star pupil for her most crucial battle.
