You can push through some pain, just don't be a hero about it. Your body needs to get used to the abuse. It will.

It's a game. You don't have to stop. But if you don't play things right, you have to.

If you refuse to quit, enemies can never defeat you. Don't lose the internal battle going on in your head. #WinTheInternalBattle

6 miles and 1,200 feet elevation gain today. I'm getting back to where I want to be!

yes but even moreso you must now learn your body and how to rehab it. You have probably never stretched in your life. It's an endless art form. Your muscles are now strained. You have to relax them again. It's all part of the process. Most things can be repaired in a few days. Those that say otherwise simply don't know the right way to address their injuries. Go to youtube.

Had a yearly appointment with my cardiologist today. I have to go every year to get my blood thinner script renewed. Blood draw was good except my "bad" cholesterol is like 10 over the acceptable range (I hate vegetables). I'm 15 lbs lighter than last year. Lost all that in last three months. My runs suck. 4 miles on the treadmill at a pretty average pace taxes me. I probably lost muscle instead of fat. Lot of work to do. Maybe I should just die?

Running slower, terrible diet, feel like you want to die...you're ready to become an ultramarathoner.

I don't get how this sport is so complicated for some of you.

You literally put shoes on and walk fast.

I guess I am the best runner on RM now.

Probably always was.

Some of the nerds could go faster than me but they went a 3rd of the distance. Meh!

Take my lead. Suffer more.
