From what I've seen, it's just republicans trying to find any scraps dropped on the floor to make the Obama administration (and Biden) look like something illegal had happened.


A co-worker brought it up when we were having a discussion about coronavirus. I had to check this out when he starts spouting about Fauci being corrupt and if a movie theater opened today, and it was a nearly sold out show, he'd go with no mask.

It's the same thing we've been seeing for years; just start spouting stuff long enough, even if it's gibberish, and the atmosphere of conspiracy and scandal will formulate in the heads of people and the media. It's the email thing all over again; other than folks who had gone far down the rabbit hole, no one even knew what was in Clinton's emails, just that there were 'emails' and a 'server.' A server with what? That's unimportant, there was a server!

If you keep saying things long enough, and if the media is too chickenshit of being called liberal to actually call things for what they are (as happened during the coverage of Clinton's emails), then you plant a feeling of scandal in people's heads, even if they could never actually tell you what the scandal is.

I read Espers's voice to be like "yes, that's right a little further..." and then he goes back to his office and talks with his Raytheon overlord on a burner phone and they say, "keep up the good work, Mark."

Honestly, it's not Trump's America - it's Rush Limbaugh's America. There wouldn't be videos like this without 25-30 years of Rush (and his copycats) blasting the "drive-by media." Trump is just the cult of personality to bring it together.
