I'd say erotic utopia but again, watching a riot cop's head get mashed into a barricade doesn't hit the same way for everyone.

Totes. But that Tom Waits one is top tier.

I actually found that one kind of tiresome. That one and "Meal Ticket." The movie started and ended high but definitely dipped in the middle for me.

I'll say this, he's a better actor than a musician.

Fun. But a minor Corn film.

Gonna have to disagree on this one too. It didn't have the emotional gravitas of something like True Grit but I think it's much more than just a love letter to old Hollywood. At least as political as Burn After Reading. Loved it.

i need to watch that one again...immediately after watching i felt like it didn't fully work for me, despite some scenes and performances i loved...but then for the next few weeks i couldn't quit thinking about it and i have no idea why
