I really think the last few episodes of the first season and this season so far justify the praise this show has been getting. The conversation between Hannah and Donald Glover's character in the last episode was very well written.

I believe it is worth it for the HBO Go and On Demand Access. It has allowed me to watch the Wire, Band of Brothers, and episodes of Curb.
And you get Game of Thrones. Honestly, $15 a month for GoT, Girls and all the HBO Go you can handle? Worth it.
I didn't mention Thrones because we usually have watch party at a friend's house for it.

that really is the only approach. audience silence during awkward sex scenes is a little uncomfy.

Lena and co. would defend that it is terrible that people rag on her for showing her body.
I kind of like the Elijah character. But I guess the actor was only set to appear in a couple episodes since he's also in an NBC show?
Mixed reviews on the last episodes. I liked Hannah's storyline and her confrontation with Marni. But otherwise I hated Marni's scenes; girl's got to get her act together. But we've barely seen the other two girls so far. I wonder how much Jessa's real life pregnancy is effecting her planned plotline?
