The only one I am not immediately sold on is Let The Records Play.

No idea why.

Cos as much as its an attempt to do something new it just isn't that good?

Easily the low point of what we have so far.

Getaway into cold confession works quite well.

If I like any of the new tracks as much as I like CC ill be happy.

I've pretty much discarded swallowed whole as just not my thing.

well I think CC is better than these songs. But these are good.

CC is better than 95 percent of their output

I'm disappointed you all haven't talked yourselves into "best record since Vitalogy" yet.

Fairly sure I'll like it more than the last two. Everything could fail at Sirens, SBM or FD though.

I dunno. It's been pointed out that the audio files leaked today mention something about an MLB Promo. So theory is that this is a leaked promo CD containing the most upbeat songs on the album that will be used in some MLB promos/trailers/features/whatever.

Im not too fond of CC, I liked LIR better and I like these songs better too...Different strokes I guess

Not necessarily, not if you're not ready to launch it yet. The single needs a huge promo push in itself, aside from the album. If anyone's heard it prior to its release, it could fall flat.

Assuming (!) that SBM and FD are as underwhelming as most of us seem to expect, and assuming (!) that My Father's Son/Infallible/Pendulum/Yellow Moon are as good/interesting as the reviews have led us to expect, these four songs are good enough that Sirens might be the song that pushes this album decidedly toward "really good" or "eh, it's okay."

Very much so. Sirens is relatively long, so if it's bad, it's bad for a relatively long time.
