So I finally got Netflix...

Man, I've been away from RM for a bit, so I missed all the David Chang/Aziz loathing. I kinda...agree? re: Chang. I was on the fence about him from the start, but he is pretty dickish. It's really just other people involved that make the show for me, ie. Walter Green, Peter Meehan, and some of the other food critics, etc. Never eaten at Momofuku. Probably never will.

I could go either way with Aziz. I do find him funny, but only in Parks and Rec. Master of None is/was great.

All that to say, I've moved on to trying to watch The Office start to finish. I'd only watched part of Season One - years ago - and didn't return to it. Now that I've got a little time I'm burning through it. Started about a week and a half ago, and I'm almost done with Season Three. I think my favorite character - at the moment - is Creed. I love that he gives zero fucks.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Finished watching the fourth season of 'The House of Paper'/'Money Heist' - really enjoying this series, but I'm hoping that they tie it up before it drags out too long and overstays its welcome

it goes downhill pretty far after season 4...i can be critical of the show and it is flawed, but still very enjoyable...kinda like lost for me

This show really was a pleasant little surprise. We popped it on one night and blew threw it in a week.
