I can see it. I work in our hospital's renal department where we wear PPE all shift. We don't social distance at all. If we were wearing homemade masks it would be the same I bet.

It's due to less reporting on the weekends. Tueadays tend to be really bad reporting days because it's only then that people are caught up from the weekend.

We heard the same argument in the US a while back. I kind of feel the opposite - the masks are a constant reminder that we're on high alert.
