Probably the best explanation offered.

Lucas should’ve made it where Anakin actually DID do something that caused her to die. The reason offered is fucking stupid and beyond all reasoning. We’ve all had someone break our hearts and we’ve all experienced periods of hopelessness so vast we don’t want to go on. But we don’t fucking die because of it. Just fucking beyond ridiculous.

So as it stands, dying caused her to die.
He did force choke her, and she was pregnant, something could easily have happened then.
Had that happened, the medical robots could have said, "She won't survive the injury ..."

No? The droids wouldn't have been able to tell that she had been injured by Anakin?
That reminds me of b´s Breakind Bad finale.

Still doesn't make the trilogy anything special to me. It lacked some kind of depth to the story that the other two trilogies had. I don't even know exactly, but it all felt hollow

In fact, after watching this a couple more times, the way they reintroduced palpatine might be the worst thing in all of Star Wars

I promise you that JJ did not know how the trilogy was going to end when he was making The Force Awakens. He didn't know how the trilogy was going to end when he was making The Rise of Skywalker.

Of course he didn't know how it would end making The Force Awakens. BFD. George Lucas didn't know how the trilogy was going to end making Star Wars.
