Thinking about this more, and after that abomination of bringing Palpatine back, they need to let Fett stay dead and just have it be his armor. This would be a HUGE fail if they bring him back to life for a number of reasons, but mostly because it would be distracting from the main character.

I give it like a 4% chance that they bring back THE Boba Fett.

They'll bring back the armor and maybe even the name (again, think Dread Pirate Roberts) but the character, the guy named Boba by his clone-father Django is gone.

Or, of he's still alive, they'll bring him back as a hermit who had abandoned the bounty hunter life and moved on.

Cob Vanth with be the guy in the armor (at least for a while) and I wouldn't hate if he used the name as well. Let the galaxy believe he's the of Fett. Use the legend to his advantage.

Maybe our Mando ends up inheriting the Fett mantle from Vanth?
