A huge Zeppelin and Who fan when she was young, she maintained her love for and connection to those bands all through her life. As a middle aged woman, though, the new music she listened to tended to be Aerosmith's Armageddon song and Sheryl Crowe.

and it's just a perfect match when the band you listened to as a teen is still making music 20 years and it happens to sound like what your parents listened to

I like the last half of that song a lot...after all the "get as many syllables as I can in" schtick ends. I like everything that makes Lightning Bolt Townshendesque, as well, and Mind Your Manners is alright. I really like the first verse/chorus of Swallowed Whole, but it loses me when it tries to go "big" (what a stupid fucking decision THAT was)
Getaway, lyrically, reminds me of Johnny Guitar, in that its wordy but flows well. The only outright bomb for me would be Swallowed Whole. The others have their moments.
