In fairness, partly that and also because there's far less misses.

Great shout. In my experience it feels like a musical type of a “Runners High”. Sublime.

with the exception of Supersonic even the lower points on that album still have their charms. A fun and enjoyable listen from start to finish

Quit yappin' BS ( :D ) and write your ROS essay, young man!

rise of skywalker was a tremendous disappointment after what was, for me, possibly the franchise high. I dont want to write a few thousand words on something i didnt like that other people love. :)

You enthrall me with that Gigaton review collection you just posted and then crush my hopes mere moments later.
You're too much of an emotional roller-coaster for me, Stip.....It'll never work.

I can't believe I am reviving a Backspacer post, but I listened to this start to finish last night for the first time in years and I enjoyed it way more than ever before. I think this can be attributed to me maturing a little bit over the last 11 years, and the fact that they just put out an amazing album that has really rekindled my PJ love. It's still their second worst album for me but the gap between it and the rest is nowhere near as large as it was. Will be spinning this more regularly for sure.

Listened to Lightning Bolt too... that is still steamy shite :shake: Maybe in 10 years I'll come around on that one, but I doubt it.

Agreed. Some of the best "singalong" music the band has written, as well.

Great track, front to back IMO.

I think this is the best part of being a Pearl Jam fan at my age and stage; nearly 30 years in at 42 years old. There's so much to go back to over the years to revisit and fall in love with all over again in very different ways than I did at release. Thank God I found a love for band that persevered to give me the same gifts at 42 that I got at say, 15.

even though it's on disney plus I still haven't gotten in for even a second viewing (and I've seen every prequel and new trilogy movie in theaters at least 3 times). And I LOVE the new characters. It continues to shock me, how uninterested I became

Same....i saw each of the prequels 2-3 times when they came out. Force Awakens 3x, Rogue One 2x and Last Jedi 2x....couldn't bring myself to see either Solo or ROS more than once. Solo was fine, but there was nothing there to compel me to see it again. ROS was a HUGE disappointment after The Last Jedi. And i'm not Team Rian Johnson or anything...i loved The Force Awakens. Plan on watching ROS soon though just to see if my initial impression holds up...i suspect it will.
