About an hour left of TROS now, we’re on Endor.

Enjoying watching these three movies together like this.

TROS feels most fresh in my mind, it’s almost like I had seen it last week. Not a lot of new feelings or experiences about it, but it’s good to finally see it at home in top quality. Still really enjoy it.

The Han Solo scene in TROS could easily have been the worst, but ends up being the best. That’s incredible. Abd I mean that in a positive way for the scene and the movie.

The whole last part with Palpatine could have been better, certainly ROTS and ROTJ did it better. But it still works.

Final thoughts from this last watch of the trilogy: I enjoyed watching the movies at home, and I will certainly do so more times in the future. It didn’t really change how I feel about the movies, and I wish JJ had made all three. But all of the nine movies including TLJ, have scenes that I love.

Luke’s role in the new trilogy feels really good after TROS, Leia got a great ending, even after the death of Carrie, and even Han got to come back after the death of the character. Happy about that.

Guess Boyega isn't happy with the sequels overall

Not at all my takeaway from that article. But I'll let others deal their own conclusions.

"When the first image of Oscar Isaac in “Dune” was released, Boyega posted a picture on Instagram where he commented “why tf we ain’t get that in Star Wars,” and in a separate occasion implied in a Tweet that we’d one day hear his true feelings on the sequel trilogy the way we’ve heard from “Game of Thrones” actors voicing their displeasure with the show’s ending."

What does this section tell you about Boyega's disappointment in the ST films?

To me, the Dune comment doesn't at all mean he's unhappy with the ST. I'm pretty sure he was talking about outfits/costume choices -- he often joked that he was excited to get a more interesting outfit in TROS and constantly wanted cooler Star Wars costumes.

And I'm gonna need that article to tell me exactly what it means by "a separate occasion (which occasion? what's the source?) implied (interesting word, no?) in a Tweet (so post the tweet!) that we'd one day hear his true feelings on the sequel trilogy (again, which Tweet? they quoted other tweets/posts that he's posted but not this one? seems odd, no?) the way we've heard from..." because, as I pointed out, there's a lot of wishy-washy language in it. The whole thing reads like jumping to conclusions at best and click-bait at worst.

I don't know John Boyega, obviously. I don't know his mind. But these kinds of articles are misleading to the point of frustration. They're pure conjecture posing as something more. I'll take the actor's word for it. If he ever says that he's disappointed or upset with the films, then I'll believe it. Until then, it's just the internet doing what the internet does. Right now, the man himself is replying to these claims by telling people to calm down and stop overreacting. Surely, that's more trustworthy than an article full of words like "implied" and "seems" and "remains to be seen."

Folks can stop reading the article right after: "Of course, this doesn’t mean anything in and of itself"

I wouldnt blame him. There was a ton of potential with his character. What a great lead storyline of him being an ex stormtrooper.

I adore the ST and even I can acknowledge that there was a lot left on the table regarding Finn. But I don't think he's less utilized or realized than many other characters in the Star Wars universe (PT and OT included). Look at how Leia in the OT, for example. It took decades and subsequent ancillary material (and the ST) to achieve that character's full potential.

But, yes. If Boyega is frustrated or disappointed, I wouldn't necessarily blame him. And I'd love to hear him explain his honest feelings on the matter. That would be a great interview. Except the internet would find a way to ruin it, I'm sure.
