We just finished season one.
:hooray: It just gets better and better.
I liked season one, but did not like the Chris Elliot role at all.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I didn't really start to like Roland until a certain episode in S2. Once you've seen all of that season, I'll get more into it. But I think there's a real reason for my specific reaction to that character.

I look forward to watching more. Characters like Roland tend to take time to develop for these types of shows. They start off as caricatures, but gain more depth and nuance as the story develops.

Finished S2 of Homecoming (only seven episodes?). Loved the ending. Kind of feels like it's finished.

I watched Star Trek: The Next Generation when I was young, but remembered nothing about it. I jumped back into it with good and bad news; good news is that what I've seen has actually been surprisingly great and makes me want to keep going. The bad news is that it's seven seasons, 24 episodes apiece. That is a lot of TV to work through. It made me realize how accustomed I've become to shorter seasons.

I have 4 episodes left of Mr. Robot. Great show. I no longer think Darlene is annoying.

The episode with Elliot, Krista & Fernando Vera in Krista's apartment was so so good.

And LOL at episode that begins with Darlene saying "it's ok, you don't have to talk about it" and then it's a full episode with no dialogue. Well done!

Watched the first three eps of Love Life on HBO Max. Good, not great but right up my alley and I'm enjoying the fuck out of it.

Also watched the first three eps of The Morning Show on Apple+. So much to talk about... ultimately, I'll keep watching but man I want it to be better. The stuff that is good about it is great though.

The first is the least interesting of the three. It's a straight-up rom-com premise, tropes and all. Kendrick is great (duh!) and there's a lot to like about it. But it's nothing you haven't seen before. It's comfort food.
