The shots I heard were gas bombs and flash bombs. Couple people are being arrested.

In that exact moment two men rushed the police and were throwing punches and very aggressive. They were pepper sprayed and arrested.

Watching the live feed now. This is crazy crazy shit. Like 'sleep said earlier, you guys (Americans) seem to have been totally on edge for a while now. An explosion was always going to occur. Sad!

This shit is really hard to explain to my kids. We made my 8 year old cry at the dinner table trying to explain white privilege. :(

Anytime there is civil unrest on last night's scale in this country it hurts. My mom grew up in Minneapolis and I have many relatives scattered through the area. I am familiar enough with the Twin Cities that it is not just some random large metropolitan area to me. On a personal level that just makes the situation even more heartbreaking.
