Made some real deal Japanese food for the first time tonight. Miso Nikomi Udon. I have a hard time enjoying food that I spend any time on but my girlfriend raved about it.

I meant that if I put a lot of effort into something (especially a new dish I've never made before) I'm usually underwhelmed by it, even if its done well. I almost always like food better the next day, probably because I haven't had to just spend a bunch of time on it. Does that make sense?

Worked out this morning for over an hour (weights and cardio in-doors; not running). Had a giant coffee for breakfast. Had a sliced tomato and a piece of bread w/ olive oil for lunch. So, I'm fucking starving!

Which means, tonight we're probably doing that black pepper tofu that my wife has been going on about. :|
