I don't want to spoil anything--the story got pretty weak at the end, but it was well made and enjoyable. It's worth a watch and I want to pay attention to what the director does next but in itself I don't think it will blow you away.

I watched this last night. Thought it was pretty good. Maybe not as good as the reviews are making out, but I enjoyed it

I enjoyed it quite a bit, particularly more than I would have thought I would had someone described the movie beforehand.

Death Doesn’t Exist, and Love Doesn’t Either.

Its an argentinian film i thought it was going to be so much better. I liked the photography but other than that, it was just ok.

The Vast of Night.

i like it enough. I loved the setting, the photography, the acting...the camera work and production values. Its very well made. The scrip is pretty weak yeah, but its a very cool enjoyable scifi movie.

War Of The Worlds.

It was a good pairing to the latter, and of course im a big fan of this one. Spielberg at its finest, and Cruise is just...incredible. His teaming with Dakota is marvelous.

About halfway through so far. It’s in the vein of All The President’s Men. My girlfriend went to take a shower, she thought it was boring. But I like it. Well acted, very straightforward true story.

Oh yeah and I loved how they really embraced the radio show conventions, so much of the movie is just dialogue/monologue, but the acting was great. The old woman especially had me riveted.

Yes! I loved the opening scene with the random interviews at the basketball game. It was so close to being a great movie. Seriously excited for whatever this director does next.

She's Funny That Way (2014)

It was on HBO Max and I'd never heard of it before. Just a stupid awesome cast. Directed by Bogdanovich. Described as a farcical romantic comedy set in the world of Broadway theater. Hell ya! So of course I watched it.

What a weird fucking movie.

I saw Bogdanovich introduce this film at a festival some years ago. He talked about how it was originally called Squirrels to Nuts and was meant to be like a 50s screwball comedy. It played really well but I'd be curious to rewatch it because sometimes hearing an audience laugh uproariously at every joke colors your perception a little
