I'm in the middle of a complete overhaul. Building cliffs and valleys with lots of waterfalls after seeing all the shit people out there are doing with their islands
How do you get to do that? I still can’t even make walkways.
Yeah after you get the three star rating for the island you get all of that
How do you do THAT?
I think i’m still 1 star. I have 7 islanders, 2 bridges, 4 inclines, no weeds, lots of flowers, lots of fencing, nearly complete fossil collection. What gives here?
How many residents do you have? You need at least 10 (which includes yourself) to get to 3 stars. I just made it today. Gonna build a lot of paths.
7 + me. I have a new plot ready to go. Any other criteria? Isabelle reads comments that are usually gibberish and unhelpful.
For me it was tied directly to the number of residents.

I mean, I am really in over my head with making this island the way I want it. Everything will be on level three, and there will be two valleys with waterfalls cutting through from front to back and a path around the perimiter of the island.

I find the store hours annoying. I like to play while my kids are still in bed in the morning and evening. Especially in the morning, I'm ready to sell shit, and the store hasn't opened. and I AM NOT taking a 20% cut by dropping shit in that box.

I've never even seen a scorpion or a tarantula.

They're a pain in the ass. I was on a island with a tarantula, and it knocked me out 6 times.

I've caught a scorpion though. You have to dig an L shape of holes and then run behind them. Even then, the first time I did that, when I turned around to catch the scorpion, my dummy jumped over the hole and got stung.

I've put bug and fish catching aside now that I have terraforming capabilities.

My daughter was the first to play the game, so she's the only one who gets offers to build infrastructure or sell land or build shops. I'm amazing at what an 8 year old understands about mortgages and city planning, but we have to keep the pressure on her to do her job.

I have a feeling it's going to be the same thing with terraforming.

Yeah, I've caught a few on my nephew's island, he messes with time travel. I'm looking forward to having them available though

We had an amiibo card for Stitches, a stupid stuffed bear. We invited that fucker to camp on the island, like, 8 times. He keeps coming, and we run all over the place making him one dumb ass souvenir after another. Then we invite him to live on the island, and he say, "Oh I don't know. It might be fun. Maybe ask me again later."

He's finally moving to the island, and when he gets here, I'm going to drown him in the pond.

Oh yeah, I've been reading about all of the "good" or "popular" islanders to get. I'd love to have stitches. The only cool one I have right now is Marshal, but I need some others to leave before I can get anyone else on there.

I need to look up how to make the basketball court. I plan to make the upper tier of my island a mansion/yard filled with recreational activities.
