I'll echo this too, and have also been impressed by the ability of our federal and state governments to pull things together and act in the community interest, particularly the unprecedented financial assistance provided to those out of work as a result of this situation.

The last few months have made me feel enormously fortunate to live in Australia, in a way that I don't think I really did before.

There seems to be somewhat of a divide between those of us who live in the southern hemisphere and our brethren in the north over this whole situation

seeing how it could happen

if they had lockdowns in Tenochtitlan then we all might be worshipping Huitzilopochtli right now
