Anyone pick up any others? Is there a Prince/purple one somewhere?

I've kind of thought there was a reference to the Rolling Stones in Whoever Said - by mentioning Satisfaction so many times.LikeLukin wrote:Big timeHatfield wrote:Springsteen - Seven O'ClockLetMeSleep wrote:Have we listed all the call outs and influences on this album? I get big AC/DC vibes from the opening riffs on WES and SBWM.

This album is so STRONG. I got past 7'Oclock for the first time in a couple of weeks and was floored by ND>Buckle UP>Comes The Goes. Ridiculously great music by the best band in the land. I liked BS and LB, but this feels like coming in from the wilderness after 14 years.

I also took some time off and listened again. It's really good. It's settling in nicely in the ST/Riot Act grouping with me, which is well above the last two albums

2 1/2 months in, still playing this a lot, still loving it. Most of the time I didn't think QE could be topped, but now for me it's WES, 7, then Dance/QE/Never Dest battling for 3. Alright is a fine song, but its the only one I kind of forget about.

I listen to this at least once a week, still (not every day, but often far more than once a week, too). And I keep finding new things to like about the album. This is a great record.

Agree. Even Retrograde, which I've beat on quite a bit in this forum, isn't that bad. Every song brings something to the table.durdencommatyler wrote:I listen to this at least once a week, still (not every day, but often far more than once a week, too). Yep...i'm even finding myself really digging Never Destination this week and that was the one song on this album i was kind of lukewarm about.Monkey_Driven wrote:Agree. I'm confident in saying this as well. Will see if it gets higher than that as the months go by. Regardless, it's a more than worthy addition to the canon almost 30 years in =E.H.
