I always felt like I should love this song more than I do. I think the S/T production really stifles it.

One of my favorites (lyrics and music) and the performance at the Gorge will always be a top moment in my live show experiences. Like a lot of you, Believe You Me was a song I searched and searched for and once I found it, loved it. The ending of this one gave me a little sense of that song and it felt like Eddie being okay with his pop sensibilities, which until S/T it felt like he was always fighting against.

I love S/T, their last truly great album IMO and this is one of the highlights. When the keyboard kicks in at the end and it doubles speed - one of my favourite PJ moments.

Aged really well. It is a intersting song in a sense that it invokes gospel and blues in kinda a Elvis Presley vibe, but stays in the straight ahead rock lane. It also has a Steppin Wolf vibe to. I guess there is something very 1960's about this song. The chorus reminds of Buffalo Springfield.

This is probably PJ's most-improved song for me in recent years.

One of their weakest efforts ever. Has absolutely no idea what to do with itself. Just meandering in search of a decent riff or chord progression, which never materialize. Half-hearted vocal delivery over an aimless arrangement. Yuck.

It's long been one of my favorites from its record. And it's had massive staying power for me, as well. Glad it's improving for others as time goes on. I've always felt it was a really underrated song.

Listen to Matt. He pushes and pulls where necessary. His playing alone makes this essential.
