Your first sentence is spot-on, but the conclusion from that realization shouldn't be "I hate being white." If you saw a legless person laying on the ground, would you say "I hate that I have legs"? Would you cut your legs off? If you realize that you have benefited from privilege, find a way to use that privilege to fix things. Feeling bad for having privilege is meaningless. No one wants that from you

It is a good point that feeling sorry about it doesn't help. When I have a bad day and tell my wife about it and she says "I'm sorry" , that doesn't change the situation im in.

White people should hate themselves bro
That gives her the right to hope black men get attacked by cops to suite her white shame needs. Makes a lot of sense, coming from a racist. I just wasn’t sure you were one yet. Obviously you are at least sympathetic to the racism.
I will speak for kt by saying that no way would she ever HOPE for a cop to beat on a black man. The feeling that she's trying to communicate is pretty obvious to anyone without a smooth brain. And it's not racism.
If this was said by anyone you didn’t walk hand in hand with politically, you would ABSOLUTELY rage at the obvious racism in what she said.

I can’t even image if Trump had said anything like it. You would want to literally kill him. As you already do.

You want a banning of me, and probably macphisto, and a few others if they said the exact same words she did.

HYPOCRISY. The last few pages are completely filled you leftist hypocrites. And anyone that open reads through it can see that.

I don't even know what knee tunes is saying half the time let alone what her exact politics are.

I've also never advocated for anyone to be banned. Not even when I got doxxed by the clique.

What she said was clearly racist. Even if she “meant well”, her words and desire to have the opportunity to be a hero at the expense of a black man, is pretty much racist as fuck.
You know that is not what is in her heart
Lol, so who do you extend that benefit of the doubt to and why? And does your assumption of her intent excuse blatantly racist speech?

Uhh, what?
tl;dr?

A lot of white people have not initiated that conversation with themselves though.

And you don't really need to tell me to "do something," I've been doing anti-racist programs in schools for years.

It is a good point that feeling sorry about it doesn't help. When I have a bad day and tell my wife about it and she says "I'm sorry" , that doesn't change the situation im in.
I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. In that story, your wife is acknowledging your pain and offering you some degree of emotional support. That's nice. In the metaphor, her equivalent response to you saying that you had a bad day would be her saying "I hate that I had a good day." It makes it about her and it does nothing for you.

Teachers say our programs have a noticeable effect on their classrooms and the empathy their students have for each other, which is what i care about. But thanks for your weird question, I guess.

I would take both responses the same way. Personally, I find it annoying when I'm venting and someone just says "I'm sorry". Get mad with me, talk it out with me, don't offer the conciliatory "I'm sorry".

I hope that someday I am given the chance to be the person who pulls the killing cop off the black dude.
I just want to clear up this quote from kt. Sure it's a bit clumsy but there's no intent there. In no way is she saying she hopes someone is attacked so she can be a hero. She's saying that if she saw some injustice being carried out she would insert herself into the situation to help the one being unfairly treated.

I know that, and I’m making an obvious point that you guys are again conveniently ignoring.

That exact kind of baseless, word twisting, language interpreting, psychout bullshit that the left pull CONSTANTLY. It’s asinine. That’s the damn point. Except when you like who the target is pointed at. Then you are noble and righteous in your cries of racism!

Start owning the fact the the left is at least as hypocritical when it come to things like race, homophobia, sexism, etc. And you are willing to do so here as well, if you like the person or interpret their intent a certain way. Then maybe I’ll stop pointing out page after page of hypocritical bullshit that is said by you guys in here.
