Re: Election 2020
I have to say, I don't understand why you would want to pick a "fight" between Obama and Trump over the economic numbers. In terms of who saw more growth during his tenure, it's not close and it's not arguable. Now, if you want to say the numbers don't tell the whole story or need context (like this month; the highest job growth in history is good but means little if weighed against a job loss 10x larger the month before), you'd have better ground to stand on. But those numbers are what they are.

Really, people can google this stuff. The scariest thing these last few years isn't really Trump himself, but that you can show people evidence (NUMBERS) and they don't flinch.digster wrote:I have to say, I don't understand why you would want to pick a "fight" between Obama and Trump over the economic numbers. Seems like obama is really the only one who was able to actually change the trajectory. I wonder if anyone gives him credit *shrugs*Rob wrote:PHATJ wrote:You mean numbers like the lowest unemployment rates in the history of the country for women and blacks that happened under Trump’s administration?Rob wrote:Really, people can google this stuff. The scariest thing these last few years isn't really Trump himself, but that you can show people evidence (NUMBERS) and they don't flinch.digster wrote:I have to say, I don't understand why you would want to pick a "fight" between Obama and Trump over the economic numbers.
Doesn't change trajectory until Covid

Although, considering black unemployment right now...trump definitely changed that trajectory. I wonder if he gets the blame too? *shrugs*
