We get some in cans and some places have it on draft. But Wilmington is a local beer snob city so it's hard to find anything other than local as far as craft is concerned here

I wouldn't have thought that SC beer would be considered a travesty.

Hell upstate NC beer is sometimes hard to get on draft here. There's a brewery down in Southport, like thirty minutes from here and I can hardly find their stuff on draft because it isn't Wilmington proper. And the biggest brewery here in town, Wrightsville Beach brewing, has shitty beer

We had a contract that used maple syrup in one of its beers and a shit-ton in its variants. You'd walk in the taproom and that was all you could smell, the brewhouse at the other end of the goddamn building was almost unbearable.

I was walking out of the totally empty brewery earlier and a lone car in the lot rolls up and said he ordered curbside pick-up, which we never did though we go live Wednesday but yep, all square with receipt and all for pick-up after 5:15. Kiuchi Brewery does some great stuff and I am definitely spoiled as they use B. United for importing/distribution here in Oxford, CT. Beyond Kiuchi their portfolio is incredible and depending on where you are, you may just end up with a can that was finished and filled here. The work is actually done through OEC Brewing, the son of B. United's owner, and I am completely serious in stating that they are one of the best breweries in the world with a really great team.
