Mustard?

A BLT is not a pastrami sandwich

A little mayo is the perfect accompaniment for a BLT

anymore? why would you leave it off in the first place?
Correct. If you don't like mayo, than BLT is off the menu for you.
B = bacon
L = lettuce
T = tomato

the fuck is wrong with you guys?
Do you... do you eat BLT dry???
Of course not. You butter the toast.

Neither is a ham or turkey sandwich, and a lot of people put mustard on those. Why does the bacon change the equation?

Insalata Russa (Russian Salad) or Italian Salad as we call it in Scandinavia.

A chef in Moscow made the first salad, from Italian ingredients, and called it Italian salad. In Italy it became a Russian salad.

Similar to Danish pastry. In many countries in Europe it’s called a Vienna Bread, including in Denmark. That’s because the first one was made by a chef from Vienna, for the Danish king.

It’s actually a Norwegian picture of an «Italian salad».

But yes, it’s similar to coleslaw. Usually a bit softer, milder, and chopped in smaller pieces. More carrots, and even ham.
