Kick Out the Jams makes me wonder if it was really necessary for Renegades to be a full album. There are a couple great tracks.... just not this one

Both lesser tracks. But Maria is a bit better than the cover, mostly because I don’t love what Zack is doing on the cover.

The thing about kotj is that I've heard many bands cover it and it's always usually the same. That goes for this version too. It's a little more screamy but it doesn't stand out for me

True story, the best cover version I've heard of it is by Presidents of the U.S.A.

From evil Empire on, I think that Tim Comerford became the sleeper hero of this bandFarmer John wrote:I love Maria. That bassline!

In high school I played bass in a shitty RATM cover band, so I've always had a fondness for Cumerford's basslines.

Maria is great. One of the songs that really stood out to me when I listened yesterday. I dig it.

Timmy C is one of my favorite bass players.Farmer John wrote:For sure.tragabigzanda wrote:From evil Empire on, I think that Tim Comerford became the sleeper hero of this bandFarmer John wrote:I love Maria. That bassline!

The stuff he did on Audioslave is just bonkers
