This week was the perfect time for a RATM discog listen. Lack of evolution certainly hindered them but what a run. Top quality across the board. Side A of Battle may be the highlight for me but Renegades is a perfectly paced beast.

Yep... self-titled is insanely relevant!

Throw on a little Public Enemy, too.

All the originals from Renegades. I’d never listened to them all

I don't really like Renegades too much. I'll take the original hip hop stuff over their covers. I like The Ghost of Tom Joad and Street Fighting Man though.

The backlash against fans who want Tom Morello to stop sharing his public opinions if fantastic.

Giving their debut a listen right now. This thing is incredible. Killing in the Name, Take the Power Back, Bullet in the Head... some great fucking songs.

Yeah, I have no issue with the production. I've only listened to it once but I thought it sounded great. It's not as bombastic as Battle of Los Angeles. Which I like.

A bit static perhaps, but I don't get your brittle criticism. I associate brittle with way too much high end, and I definitely don't hear that. Maybe I'm wrong.
