I've been drinking a lot of Four Roses lately, mostly because it's decent and inexpensive. I've grown to appreciate it. But I miss some of the better quality bourbons. Might have to splurge (relatively) on something else in the next few weeks. A little Eagle Rare or something. Nothing too crazy.

yeah the regular 4 roses here is literally $18 a bottle and its good stuff...this weekend I'm making a trip to total wine and picking up stuff we've never tried before..i don't know what its going to be, just going in and grabbing what looks interesting

Crown is totally fine if uninspiring. Basil Hayden's is far and away the better whiskey, though. But BH is also a lot more expensive (at least in my neighborhood). Crown is decent and carries an unoffensive price tag.

Basil Hayden's is worth its price tag, though.
