The Oklahoma City Police Department this week released video of the arrest of a black man last year in which he can be seen pinned on the ground, saying, “I can’t breathe,” and an officer replies, “I don’t care.” The man died in custody shortly afterward.

The man, Derrick Scott, 42, was arrested on May 20, 2019

It’s tricky, the Oakland number at least is 42% of 40% (what the city’s general fund covers) which makes the depiction above misleading as not all general funds across all cities cover the same services. It works out to about $140k per police dept employee, so when you factor in everything from training to equipment and Insurance and healthcare and the cost of living it’s not that bad. Education employees come in around $100k per.

The point is the same. They’ve always done this. And it’s seems policy to both do it and ignore it.
That’s a systemic failure even if the guy got fired.

Right, but the only possible places in that graphic for schools are general gov't (13%) or other (4%). Was just wondering, maybe theirs is a county level thing.
