I think Bleed Together would have fit nicely between Ty Cobb and Blow Up the Outside World.

maybe yes. But as much as i consider for example, Kristi a masterpiece, i think DOTU is just perfect.

I hear ya. Because I tend to listen to entire albums, some of those one-offs get forgotten. So it's interesting to think of how they would have fit with the other songs recorded at the same time. I'm gonna mess around with a tracking of DOTU with Bleed Together, Karaoke, and Kristi and see if I can make it work.

Gotta say, Karaoke would open DOTU in a totally badass way. And it translates great into Pretty Noose. And Kristi would be a killer closer. It's got such a "New Damage" vibe to it.

It's kind of ironic Chris used an exercise band to hang himself. Not a pretty noose at all really

Unpopular Soundgarden opinions:

I've never really liked Pretty Noose.

I admitted it was an unpopular opinion.

I love how the guitars sounds on King Animal.
The crunchiness, the tone, the loudness....a good example is Blood On The Valley Floor. Besides the riff and Chris great vocals, there is an overall sound form them that just rules.

I wonder when we will hear the songs they had finished for the album they had been working on? Could be years and years the way the two sides hate each other but in 2030 does anyone even care anymore? Is earth still inhabited by humans? Just put them up online now I say.

I kinda have the feeling the band might leaked whatever they got if this doesnt resolve soon. Maybe they are never released who knows.
