RATM came out when I was hating the Machine more than I've ever hated the Machine in my life. I listened to that album until I could rap the whole album a Capella. It was intertwined with the meat of my brain.

I got subsequently more comfortable with the Machine as time went on. No matter what they did, they could never hit me the same way.

Renegades pushed up, b/c that's just a fucking fun album.

All he'd have to do is put Renegades at the bottom, and nobody would bother him.

I don't understand people who think like this. Sure, the best songs on BoLA are as good as anything they've done, but as a whole the album doesn't hold a candle to the previous two.
