I think it could be cool to have Flashpoint as a movie. It has the elements to make a very fun and weird movie for sure, and it could help a little bit with dc´s timeline.

Everything is cannon in the multiverse. Creative types are free to shape their movies to cross over or do their own thing. You don't have to mess with a director's vision to make sure movie 16 segue's into movie 17 like in the MCU. Audiences can handle it.

All those execs are gone. The new guy is smart enough to course correct. The multiverse is a way to use the old stuff they like, disregard what they don't and put it together with new stuff. There is a reason why there are only two successful shared movie universes. The MCU and the Conjuring Universes. They are lead by two guys that understand the genre AND know how to get movies made. There are plenty of people in Hollywood that know how to make movies but they think comic books are silly. (There is a character called Reverse Flash! LOL we gotta change that!). There are plenty of people that understand comics or horror but they know shit about getting a movie made (Geoff Johns). Kevin Feige was part of 13 Marvel movies before Iron Man. He saw what worked and what didn't. There is a reason he is being brought into Star Wars. He knows, loves and understands the material and he cranks out billion dollar movies. He's a unicorn. Who is the WB gonna get to do that? James Wan? Would he even want too? They are better off hiring people with vision for each project, letting them do their own thing and if it fits into a larger narrative organically cool if not it still counts it's just part of the multiverse. The anti-Marvel formula.

I do like that they recognized the Arrowverse as part of their new Multiverse. And by doing that, including the Animated Series universe. And the old Batman TV show.

Oh i love that. I dont care about sharing universes and thought it was super stupid for them to try that with 3 movies. I would adore for them to make director oriented movies like they initially thought.

The reports I saw just said "coming back", so I'll stay positive and say re-shoots.

Intersting. I dont think they can handle re shoots with the budget of 30M they said they have for this thing.

i really liked ben as batman and bruce and henry is spectacular as Supes and clark

i really dont get the hate for them. the JL movie story that was released was not nearly as good as a whole but it had some phenomenal parts (loved when the flash was running towards supes and supes eyes were tracking him)


miller as the flash was just about as bad casting as me getting casted as hollywoods next leading action star
